Von Boll Welcome Center (Franklin College)

Driven by the goal of increasing quality student services and encouraging interaction among members of the campus community, the Von Boll Welcome Center’s design provides a welcoming identity for those who make Franklin College their home. Many consider the Von Boll Welcome Center to be the Gateway to the College. It is designed to showcase the College’s vision and to provide an opportunity for recruiting new students. Creating and combining functional spaces for receptions and gatherings, as well as providing technology-driven conference rooms, media rooms, and telecommunications rooms establish an active and dynamic environment. Administrative spaces on the second floor allow counselors to meet with students (and parents) and for financial personnel working with scholarships and student finances. The Von Boll Welcome Center’s further success comes from offering comfortable spaces for individuals and groups alike to feel at home.
